Some of the DST cards do not support DiSEqC 2.0 but only 1.x. Reading in 
status bytes is part of DiSEqC 2.0 specs.
I think people were not interested in that feature. I will take a look 
into this, though.

Please do let me know whether your card supports DiSEqC 2.0.
