Hi Nick,
Still having major issues with this... most of the buttons do nothing or do
something crazy! Still, thats just a config file issue I guess. More
seriously, all the keypresses lag by one kepress. For example:
1. I press the down button. Nothing happens.
2. Then I press left, the application (MythTV) executes a 'down' action.
3. Then I press up, the app executes a left action.
4. The next key I press results in an 'up' action, and so on.
Any ideas what's happening here?
At the moment, if I run lircd in the foreground, it crashes everytime I try
to use 'ircat' or 'irw' with the dollowing error:
lircd-0.7.2[27834]: lircd(any) ready
lircd-0.7.2[27834]: accepted new client on /dev/lircd
lircd-0.7.2[27834]: could not get file information for /dev/lirc
lircd-0.7.2[27834]: default_init(): No such file or directory
lircd-0.7.2[27834]: caught signal
Even after lircd crashes, the remote still "works". /dev/lirc does not
exist, however /dev/lircd does. Could this be a lircd driver issue? Which
one should I be using? I have the following options:
audio
bte
bw6130
creative
creative_infracd
default
dev/input
dsp
dvico
ea65
irman
livedrive_midi
livedrive_seq
logitech
mp3anywhere
mouseremote
mouseremote_ps2
null
pcmak
pinsys
pixelview
silitek
tira
udp
uirt2
uirt2_raw
I'm seriously lost on this one, just can't get my head round how all the
various parts fit together and work! Would love some help before it drives
me insane! :)
Thanks in advance,
Andy
