Hello everyone,

I just downloaded and compiled the latest drives from linuxtv.org and
I'm having problems. Hopefully someone can help me. I'm using Ubuntu
6.10 with kernel 2.6.17.

If I boot with the device attached I get the following errors:

usb 1-3: device descriptor read/64, error -110
usb 1-3: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 4
usb 1-3: device descriptor read/64, error -110
usb 1-3: device descriptor read/64, error -110
usb 1-3: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 5
usb 1-3: device descriptor read/8, error -110
usb 1-3: device descriptor read/8, error -110
usb 1-3: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 6
usb 1-3: device descriptor read/8, error -110
usb 1-3: device descriptor read/8, error -110

If I then disconnect and reinsert the device, the following appears:

usb 3-5: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 3
usb 3-5: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
dib0700: loaded with support for 2 different device-types
dvb-usb: found a 'Hauppauge Nova-T Stick' in cold state, will try to
load a firmware
dvb-usb: downloading firmware from file 'dvb-usb-dib0700-01.fw'
dib0700: firmware started successfully.
dvb-usb: found a 'Hauppauge Nova-T Stick' in warm state.
dvb-usb: will pass the complete MPEG2 transport stream to the software
demuxer.
DVB: registering new adapter (Hauppauge Nova-T Stick).
DVB: registering frontend 0 (DiBcom 7000PC)...
MT2060: successfully identified (IF1 = 1220)
dvb-usb: Hauppauge Nova-T Stick successfully initialized and connected.
usbcore: registered new driver dvb_usb_dib0700

It looks like the device has been correctly recognised and configured
but when I try to use scan in the dvb-utils package I get the following
error:

mt2060 I2C read failed

I would appreciate any help to get this device working on Linux as
Hauppage's software is notoriously unreliable. If you need any other
info then let me know.

Thanks in advance!

Ananda
