[linux-dvb] [PATCH 0/4] budget-ci IR cleanup

The following patches form part of my conversion of budget-ci to use
ir_common. They do not complete it; they provide only some tidying up and
error-checking.

The patches are posted as follow-ups to this posting. I would like them to be
pushed for inclusion in kernel 2.6.17.

BTW, where do we go from here - complete the conversion or split out
budget-ir first? Given the fact that some cards are now being driven by
budget-ci rather than budget, I'd go for completing the conversion first.
