Hi,

I'm trying to get a StarBox 2 working. I've tried it with 2.6.15 and 2.6.16
kernel systems (both debian testing). After downloading the firmware from
www.linuxtv.org the device seems to initialise correctly here is the dmesg
output (on the 2.6.15 system):

usb 4-4: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 2
dvb-usb: found a 'TwinhanDTV StarBox DVB-S USB2.0 (VP7021)' in warm state.
dvb-usb: will use the device's hardware PID filter (table count: 8).
DVB: registering new adapter (TwinhanDTV StarBox DVB-S USB2.0 (VP7021)).
dvb-usb: MAC address: 00:08:ca:15:7c:9e
vp702x: system string: USB702X
DVB: registering frontend 0 (Twinhan DST-like frontend (VP7021/VP7020)
DVB-S)...
input: IR-receiver inside an USB DVB receiver as /class/input/input3
dvb-usb: schedule remote query interval to 400 msecs.
dvb-usb: TwinhanDTV StarBox DVB-S USB2.0 (VP7021) successfully initialized and
connected.

I then try to tune it with szap using frequency information which I believe to
be correct, on any of the channels I've tried I get the following output:

navlaptop:~# szap -c ~/channels-hotbird.conf Euronews
reading channels from file '/root/channels-hotbird.conf'
zapping to 1 'Euronews':
sat 0, frequency = 11034 MHz V, symbolrate 27500000, vpid = 0x0398, apid =
0x03a3
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'
status 1f | signal 0000 | snr 0000 | ber 00000000 | unc 00000000 | FE_HAS_LOCK
status 1f | signal 0000 | snr 0000 | ber 00000000 | unc 00000000 | FE_HAS_LOCK
status 1f | signal 0000 | snr 0000 | ber 00000000 | unc 00000000 | FE_HAS_LOCK

I also get the following error on dmesg:

"vp702x: usb in operation failed."

Any advice?

Cheers!
