hello all

I've been following the development of the m20x driver
I've compiled the latest tree from mercurial for this project and all
goes well until I try and tune a channel

this is what I get from install
[17180167.824000] usb 5-8: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd
and address 6
[17180167.960000] usb 5-8: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
[17180168.104000] dvb-usb: found a 'MSI Mega Sky 580 DVB-T USB2.0' in
cold state, will try to load a firmware
[17180168.136000] dvb-usb: downloading firmware from file
'dvb-usb-megasky-02.fw'

[17180168.568000] dvb_usb_m920x: probe of 5-8:1.0 failed with error 64

[17180168.568000] usbcore: registered new driver dvb_usb_m920x

[17180168.832000] usb 5-8: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and
address 7
[17180168.968000] usb 5-8: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
[17180168.968000] dvb-usb: found a 'MSI Mega Sky 580 DVB-T USB2.0' in
warm state.
[17180168.968000] dvb-usb: will pass the complete MPEG2 transport stream
to the software demuxer.
[17180168.968000] DVB: registering new adapter (MSI Mega Sky 580 DVB-T
USB2.0).
[17180169.064000] DVB: registering frontend 0 (Zarlink MT352 DVB-T)...
[17180169.064000] input: IR-receiver inside an USB DVB receiver
as /class/input/input3
[17180169.064000] dvb-usb: schedule remote query interval to 100 msecs.
[17180169.064000] dvb-usb: MSI Mega Sky 580 DVB-T USB2.0 successfully
initialized and connected.

I note the error after firmware loading but discounted as its just
before we reset to warm load.
then I issue
scan /usr/share/doc/dvb-utils/examples/scan/dvb-t/uk-CrystalPalace

which gives me

this error comes from qt101.h but not sure whether its related to that
file or not.

I'm not a programmer but am capable of compiling or patching code to
test anything you like.

I have a debian sarge running 2.6.16 kernel
and ubuntu edgy on 2.6.17

for completeness here my lsusb -v
