 i just would like to inform you that  i got support for this card
yesterday with the help of

agd5f  and xyzzy_,

they explained  how things work

the tvtuner does work maybe you should play around  with the right
firmware to get a better picture ...

at   http://mcentral.de/firmware/
and install in /lib/firmware/

*you can find the repository at
http://mcentral.de/hg/~mrec/v4l-dvb-experimental/



if you are impatient and want to try it out before  Mrec updates the
repository  to     support  this card just  add



                        .gpio0 = 0x400,
                        .gpio1 = 0x4000,
                        .gpio2 = 0x800,

in the  /v4l-dvb-experimental/linux/drivers/media/video/cx88/cx88-cards.c
file

make && make install


the sound is there  just have to unmute the aux channel with alsamixer
