[linux-dvb] Problems with Hauppauge WinTV Nova-TD Stick on an Asus Pundit

Hi,

probably that usb port on your "old" notebook is a 1.1 device only.
Try with lspci if you can see a line similar to this:

00:1d.7 USB Controller: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) USB2 EHCI
Controller (rev 02)
