[linux-dvb] Problem with Hauppauge Nova-T PCI on ubuntu Edgy

Hi

I hope this is the right place to ask this, but I'm getting nowhere fast
and googling has got me nowhere.

I am setting up a MythTV box on Ubuntu Edgy with a new Hauppauge Nova-T
PCI card - with the Conextant CX88x chipset.  I picked this combination
'cos it's all supposed to work 'out-of-the-box' :-(  The card appears to
be recognised, but finds no channels on scan.  However the card works
correctly in a Win XP box on the same Ariel feed (and finds 66 channels)
- so it's not either of those that are at fault.  w_scan finds signal on
several frequencies, but never finds any channels either - so there must
be something simple I'm missing here.

Any suggestions gratefully received.
