Hmm.. I'm running now with 40504 size buffer and dvb-usb-dib0700-01.fw
firmware and there have been no transaction errors/disconnects so far.
The machine has been up 16 hours.

Can you double check your firmware? To me it seems to be the thing
that makes the difference.
