There are a few things.
Multiproto doesn't work with the latest 2.6.24 kernels (doesn't compile) ?
Anyone Help? and..
http://dev.kewl.org/hauppauge/ doesn't patch cleanly on latest hg (can do by
hand) and does compile with 2.6.24 but the DVB-S stuff is broken (well
something changes with sysctl in between 2.6.23.14 and 2.6.24) so gives
errors of:
sysctl table check failed: /dev/cx24116 .7.140166 Unknown sysctl binary path
sysctl table check failed: /dev/cx24116/toneburst .7.140166.1 Unknown sysctl
binary path
sysctl table check failed: /dev/cx24116/modfec .7.140166.2 Unknown sysctl
binary path
sysctl table check failed: /dev/cx24116/pilot .7.140166.3 Unknown sysctl
binary path
sysctl table check failed: /dev/cx24116/rolloff .7.140166.4 Unknown sysctl
binary path
sysctl table check failed: /dev/cx24116/debug .7.140166.5 Unknown sysctl
binary path
I think I have to add the syctl stuff into include/linux/sysctl.h in the hg
?? as I can remove the sysctl stuff it and it works fine
Then there is the multi frontend support to get patched in into the
multiproto stuff ...
Then there is FM Radio support (not supported at all)
IMHO , I think to get in the hg working/put in, in order.
multiproto (when the politics between people has been sorted out?)
multi frontends (there is only a few cards which this would be an important
thing to get working and the HVR3000 and the HVR3000 are 2 of them)
HVR4000 patches..
Thanks
