This unsupported card is evidently an OEM version of a LifeView product (not listed on LifeView's website).

Underneath the device's heatsink/shield, one finds the following ICs:

  • Phillips 8275A (tuner)
  • ATI Theater 312 (digital demodulator)
  • Phillips SAA7131E (analog demodulator and A/V decoder)
  • Philips (?) LV4052 (audio signal routing)

dmesg output when setting the tuner to type 54 yeilds:
