Brooktree Corporation, founded in 1983, was an American semiconductor company that specialized in the design of digital-to-analog converters intended for video applications. Two Brooktree [[PCI interface chipsets|PCI interface chipset]] families of particular note were the [[Brooktree Bt848|Bt848]] and [[Brooktree Bt878|Bt878]].

Brooktree was purchased by Rockwell Semiconductor Systems, a division of Rockwell International, in September 1996. In January 1999, Rockwell spun off its semiconductor division, with the resultant independent entity launching as [[Conexant Systems, Inc.]].
