Brooktree Corporation, founded in 1983, was an American semiconductor company that specialized in the design of digital-to-analog converters intended for video applications. Two Brooktree PCI interface chipset families of particular note were the Bt848 and Bt878.

Brooktree was purchased by Rockwell Semiconductor Systems, a division of Rockwell International, in September 1996. In January 1999, Rockwell spun off its semiconductor division, with the resultant independent entity launching as Conexant Systems, Inc..
