A SetTopBox manufactured in different versions by Nokia, Philips and Sagem. Used widely, including by the German PayTV service provider Premiere. Useful as a streaming client.

The Tuxbox-project has ported Linux to the dbox2 and provides an alternative software solution that has many interesting features and better performance than the original software stack provided by BetaResearch.

Tuxbox software is also used as an Enigma-based firmware platform for the Dreambox, where it is pre-installed and used as the default environment.
