Several Chipsets have been used for DVB cards in the past, here some examples:
SAA7146 (Philips Semiconductor)
Used in some of the earliest DVBCards, the Siemens DVB-C cards, the Technotrend and the KNC1 cards.
Used e.g. by some Avermedia cards, by the Nebula DigiTV, and some TwinHan cards.
SAA7134 (Philips Semiconductor)
Successor of the SAA7146
