'Philips Semiconductors' produced a variety of logic chipsets found in DVB STB and PC hardware (such as the TDA8083, TDA10021 and TDA10046 demodulators).
In October 2006, Philips sold their controlling interest in this subsidiary to a private equity group, and it was subsequently renamed. See NXP Semiconductors.
