A DVB-S2 demodulator produced by STMicroelectronics.

There are two different variants of this chip:

  • STV0900A (Supports 16APSK/32APSK and ACM)
  • STV0900B (Doesn't supports 16APSK/32APSK and ACM)

STV0900A/B

Features

   (Each demodultor can handle):
   • DirecTV and DVBS QPSK
   • DVBS2 QPSK, 8PSK and 16APSK
   • Digital Nyquist root filter
   • With 0.20, 0.25, 0.35 excess bandwidth factors.
   • DVB-S or DirecTV
   • DVB-S2 broadcasting (CCM)
   • DVB-S2 adaptive (ACM)
   • Dual decoding
   • Up to 180 Mega DVB-S2 channel bits per second (Mcbps) at input to FEC
   • Up to 130 Mcbps DVB-S or DirecTV legacy per FEC
   • Legacy DVB-S
   • DVB-S2
   • Dual data to MPEG decoder
   • Single ACM data to microprocessor
   • DVB-S2 framing
   • DiSEqC™ 2.0 22 kHz to 100 kHz interface
