                     10:   Added module parameter 'delays'.  Use delays=0 or delays=1 (default).
                     11:   Setting delays to 0 removes most of the delay operations in the module code. 
                     12:   This enables much faster module loading, and device close operations.  Please
                     13:   test with delays=0, and report errors. If there are no problems, I want to 
                     14:   make delays=0 default.
