Linux DVD on notebooks

 PCMCIA DVD decoder card

We are proud to announce the first
driver for the Margi/Bilionton DVD-to-Go PC-Card that does not need a Zoomed
Video (ZV) enabled notebook. The open source driver (GPL) is available
for Linux kernel version 2.2.x together with pcmcia-cs later than
3.1.15. It allows to playback MPEG1/2 files on your notebook using the
TV-output of the Margi/Bilionton PC-card. It also allows DVD playback
using the dvdplayer application developed by Convergence. It supports
AC3 sound. The ZV port is currently not supported due to the lack of
information from graphic card manufacturers.
