Linux DVB driver release 1.0.0-pre1

<p>
	A new release tarball from the LinuxTV DVB CVS!
</p>

<p>
	Thanks the work of numerous contributors from the LinuxTV community,
	a new release of the LinuxTV DVB drivers for kernel 2.4
	from the "stable" CVS is now available. The drivers in this
	release use the current DVB_API_VERSION 3, which is already
	supported by recent versions of many DVB applications,
	including <a href="http://www.cadsoft.de/people/kls/vdr/">VDR</a>.

<p>
	Included with the drivers are some simple tools and test
	applications. The applications written by the
	<a href="http://www.metzlerbros.org/">Metzler Brothers</a>
	(including the C++ libdvb) have been disbundled from this
	release because they were no longer maintained in the LinuxTV
	CVS and are now available directly from the Metzler Brother's home page.
