[17:04] <kwizart> hello, I'm having an issue with the initial channel detection with the following command: [17:04] <kwizart> dvbv5-scan -o dvb_channel.conf --output-format=CHANNEL /usr/share/dvbv5/dvb-t/fr-All [17:04] <kwizart> I'm scanning the whole frequencies without having any signal [17:04] <kwizart> at the end the dvb_channels.conf is empty [17:05] <kwizart> I have an old channel.conf file that is working fine (I can play dvb streams on the same tuner) [17:06] <kwizart> I'm using saa7134_dvb (with the needed firmware) [17:06] <kwizart> http://ur1.ca/n43i8 dmesg output [17:07] <kwizart> the segfault is unrelated , caused by ctrl+c [17:27] <mchehab> kwizart: you can use dvb-format-convert to convert your old working channel.conf to the new format [17:27] <mchehab> perhaps there's something wrong with fr-All [17:28] <mchehab> you may also use the old channel.conf on dvbv5-scan [17:36] <mchehab> looking at fr-All file, there's indeed something weird... instead of trying to auto-detect code rate, TX mode, modulation and guard interval, it is hardcoding those values [17:37] <mchehab> you could try to change CODE_RATE_HP, CODE_RATE_LP, TRANSMISSION_MODE, GUARD_INTERVAL and HIERARCHY to AUTO... [17:37] <mchehab> and MODULATION to QAM/AUTO [17:37] <mchehab> and see it this helps [17:38] <mchehab> btw, what are the frequencies on the working channel.conf file you have? [17:38] <mchehab> a quick googling shows some FR channel files using an offset of 167 [12:34] *** debianuser1 changes his alias to debianuser [18:30] *** RyanMercury|BNC changes his alias to RyanMercury
