WhoWhatWhen
djglUsing the kernel 4.1.10 drivers with my MN88473 based Astrometa stick didn't work. w_scan couldn't find a single DVB-C channel.
Is DVB-C supposed to work with the current drivers?

merbanandjgl: yes, I had it working, do you get a lock ?
djgl: can you post relevant kernel logs ?
[21:56]
djglmerbanan: no, w_scan rushes through the spectrum without getting a lock
I'm also back to kernel 3.2 on my main computer after three lock ups with 4.1
I'll try to set it up on one of my others
[22:10]
merbanandjgl: can you pastebin the kernel logs after first plugin and first scan ?
and you need to use the v5 api
[22:16]
djglI think I saw w_scan complaining when I tried to build it with pre-v5 kernel headers installed [22:17]
merbanantry with dvbv5-scan
djgl: that is what I had in my scripts, so try with that as it worked for me
[22:18]
djglwill do, thanks [22:20]
merbananand dvb-c should be easy to receive, I fixed the reception for low frequencies, after that I ran a MN88473 dongle as main receiver with hts for half a year [22:22]
