[12:54] <mrkiko> hello guys
[12:55] <mrkiko> Maybe you remember me
[12:55] <mrkiko> I came there some time ago with a device I didn't manage to get working :D and another for which there was no working driver it seems. This time the problem I have is a little bit different
[12:56] <mrkiko> I scanned with w_scan the channels I could see - and it seems I can get many of the available ones. The problem ... is I can't seem to get all the channels pertaining to a certain network, Rai in Italy.
[12:56] <mrkiko> I tried w_scan -t 3 and -F option togeter, with no result from that
[12:56] <mrkiko> I can watch at other channels, even if not perfectly, with mplayer
[12:56] <mrkiko> And my device is an asus My Cinema U300 hybrid, which is based on dibcom
[12:57] <mrkiko> + xceive tuner, 3028
[12:57] <mrkiko> v27 firmware
[12:57] <mrkiko> any hint would be greatly apreciated. then, I know one of those channels, Rai 1, uses the "second audio channel" to emit audio-descriptions of some programs, for blind users, like me
[12:58] <mrkiko> How does this work? I know there are PIDs involved, but I don't know what a PID exactly is, program map id or something?
[14:53] <mrkiko> What USB hardware / PCI hardware do you recommend in case I should buy new one? In terms of functionality and support?
[16:10] <mrkiko> sorry, exiting
[16:10] <mrkiko> thank you guys for all
