try compiling latest kaffeine commit git://anongit.kde.org/kaffeine It seems there might be a missing header, in the src directory, preventing the last commit from compiling. The commit prior compiles fine. I don't see this file, 'log.h', anywhere in the src directory. | [16:49] |

| majortom_ | OK, those errors don't look familiar to me, but many people have had issues on X86 systems with linux kernel 4.9 due to a virtually mapped stack feature that was added to the kernel between 4,8 and 4.9

| majortom_ | to fix that error I had to disable the feature .config, and recompile the entire kernel...
check and see if it is enabled, if so disable and recompile entrie kernel and install. Maybe it will fix yours as well. # CONFIG_VMAP_STACK is not set | [21:27] |
