merecat | hi
| [04:16]
|
| i'm having trouble getting sound to work on my video capture card
it's an Elgato EyeTV Hybrid, clearQAM model. not listed on the linuxtv wiki but it seems to be identical to a wintv hvr-950q
i'm running a fresh install of xubuntu 16.04
| [04:25]
|
| the page on the wiki about the hvr-950q mentions a workaround for the audio but only in the context of a specific program
| [04:37]
|
| i can't get anything to pull an audio stream from it, even though pulse audio shows it as installed and (apparently) configured correctly
| [04:50]
|
| when i plug the card into my netbook, also running the same version of xubuntu, i'm able to get both sound and video, but for some reason can't configure it via v4l2-ctl

BuXY81 | hi guys, what do you think, is it possible to run tvheadend on a tp-link archer c5 router? :)
