how is https://git.linuxtv.org/v4l-utils.git/tree/contrib/gconv supposed to be utilized by other applications? since I would be very interested in getting DVB and ARIB text into UTF-8 for, say, FFmpeg there's libaribb24 which is a cross-platform library but it seems it has some licensing issues ("treat it as GPLv3" according to j-b from videolan), so now I'm looking at the next good thing, and it seems the only "upstream" that took in this sort of conversion code was linuxtv.org | [10:47] |
