enyc | Hrrm I have a SAA 7131E PCI dvb TV card here...
one of the 'not detected' as dvb card, gives <rant> no eprom error in dmesg etc... I have full details, scans of back/front, , about to write out chip-numbers. I strongly suspect it can work if the correct type added to driver list. Any idea of best approach? post links here? write to a particular list? driver author person? saa7134: saa7133[0]: found at 0000:03:0a.0, rev: 209, irq: 20, latency: 64, mmio: 0xfddff000 saa7134: <rant> [..] You can use the card=<nr> insmod option to specify which board do you have. [...] except that, it is NOT listed!. https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/v4.10/media/v4l-drivers/saa7134.html "Please mail me unified diffs" <- yes, but who is that ?!?!?! | [19:05] |
