syoung: it ended that my fixes branch were completely broken... there were several patches that weren't supposed to be there I ended by applying your revert patch now at the main branch main = master I added a c/c stable and a fixes: to it please check if everything is fine (there were ~70 patches there - only 3 were fixes - the rest were patches applied to the master branch that, for whatever reason, were also at the wrong place) btw, we have 623 patches for 4.14... that's one of the biggest patch count for a single Kernel version mchehab: looks perfect, thanks I should be sending a media tree upstream pull request likely tomorrow @submaintainers: please check if everything is OK or if some last-minute fix would be required if I didn't mess up in the last minute, our documentation should now build with sphinx 1.4, 1.5 and 1.6 1.4 and 1.5 should give about the same format 1.6 will have "boring" black on white notes but, on all versions, PDF output should work properly (and html, of course :-) ) mchehab: nitpicking, but according to stable-kernel-rules, the format should be "Cc: <stable@vger.kernel.org> # 4.13". btw, in order to test different versions: http://www.infradead.org/~mchehab/kernel_docs/doc-guide/sphinx.html#sphinx-install syoung: ah, didn't know that... most of the time, people use "for 4.x" I guess someone decided to standardize it I'll remember that next time (it is not worth rebasing just due to that - as stable people will do the right thing :-) ) yes, makes sense
