   hverkuil: It took me the whole morning debugging this, not helped by the fact that v5.5-rc5 contains a tty core bug that was only fixed in rc6 or rc7 and which muddied the waters substantially for me :-(
   <br> <u>mchehab</u>: hmm, there is a second pulse8-cec patch for v5.6. I'll just make a PR for 5.6. Both are fallout from the same change, but in different ways.
