hverkuilI just read that Linus plans an rc8. I would like to make one more PR today with one fix (https://patchwork.linuxtv.org/project/linux-media/patch/20200928084844.23526-1-m.szyprowski@samsung.com/) and with the resurrected zoran driver. I want to keep the zoran driver in staging for 5.10 to shake out any issues, but I think it would be nice to have it back.
What do you think?

The zoran driver series looks to be in decent shape, but I would prefer to keep it in staging until I have access to my zoran hardware once I am back in the Netherlands (no idea when that will happen, though). [11:27]

mchehabyeah, re-adding zoran driver at staging sounds a good idea to me [12:51]
that fix also seems OK
feel free so send me a PR
btw, I also have some doc fixes patch that I'll probably merge also
some are very old stuff
the Sphinx 3.x C domain parser helped to identify some stuff

$ git grep include/media/v4l2-async.h
Documentation/driver-api/media/v4l2-async.rst:.. kernel-doc:: include/media/v4l2-async.h
Documentation/driver-api/media/v4l2-subdev.rst:.. kernel-doc:: include/media/v4l2-async.h
we need to drop either one of them
I guess v4l2-async.rst makes more sense to have it
