mchehab: as a reminder, I'm in vacations this week and the next one
so, won't be participating at any meetings during this period
I also sent today the PR with the fixes, rebased on the top of -rc2
I'll also rebase the main branch on the top of it...
other maintainers are doing the same, in order to avoid bisect problems
I'm preserving the previous base as: old/cs_1c5ab1e2286f
from my side, it doesn't matter if you rebase your tree on the top of mine or keep it based on the old tag
hverkuil: mchehab: thanks for handling the fixes!
 mchehab: anytime
hverkuil: General note: I've been cleaning up the kernel-doc warnings in media headers. Most are trivial, some will require work from driver maintainers, but I'll wait with pinging them until all the trivial fixes are merged. I should have a better idea of what it still to be done.
I'm skipping atomisp in the checks for now since that's using doxygen instead of kernel-doc, so *everything* fails.
mchehab: yeah, atomisp comments will be a headache
hverkuil: I might try to convert it myself, but I don't want to do that until all the other pending atomisp cleanup patches are merged.
mchehab: btw, there are a couple of dvb drivers that slo use doxygen
slo->also
drx* stuff
hverkuil: I haven't looked at existing media drivers.
mchehab: I wish there were some tools to convert from doxygen to javadoc format
kernel-doc is similar enough to javadoc to help fixing those
I remember I tried to find one in the past, but didn't find anything
hverkuil: hey, if you're getting bored while on vacation, there's a project for you! :-) :-)
 mchehab: :-D
yeah, writing some converter is likely the way to address those doxygen docs into kernel-doc
I might do something like that if I don't find anything else to do on my home vacations
being at home almost defeats the purpose of vacations....
*almost*
;-)
