stormerhverkuil: fyi, in gst in always save the alignment as (2^N - 1), forming a mask that you can use to check if a pointer is aligned
but in general, that RFC will allow preventing a lot of trival and errors to support userptr and dmabuf import

Corin_EUGreetings, I have a TBS5281 DVB-T2/T/C Dual Tuner TV USB which I wish to use with a Wandboard (ARMHF) and so cannot use the closed source proprietary TBS drivers which can only be used to build modules for i386 and x64 plaform. Therefore I am trying to build the open source TBS drivers but going round in circles as to which source to (crazycat, ljalves, linuxtv) if it includes support for this device and how to build for the specific kern
el version I am using 3.10.17.1-wand-armhf.com and for which I have the headers
So has anybody here built the OPEN source TBS for arm platform and how to do a successful build?
(Oh and I only need DVB-t/t2 support. do not need DVB-c support which may not be available from open source version)
OOPS looks like I am on wrong channel -->analog video support <-- I thought v4l was for the module support
