roxlu_: Hey! I've got a video capture library that uses udev to find input devices. Though on some systems udev is not available and I want to add support for listing the available input devices when udev is not there.
I found some articles which say I need to iterate over /dev/video* and use that. Is the correct way to go?
 larsc: /dev/video* for input devices?
 roxlu_: larsc: yes
larsc: roxlu_: sounds a bit weired
oh, video input devices
not HID input devices
 headless: larsc: :-D
larsc: won't see you on LinuxCon/ELC .eu this year :-(
my boss won't go there, so sabotaged my visit as well
or did I tell you already?
 larsc: damm
time for a new boss ;)
headless: larsc: or to quit working at all ;-)
he said there's currently some issues in the company
larsc: did you mean Magnus Damm, one of the mach-shmobile maintainers? ;-)
