[17:21]
..... (idle for 23mn)
faLUCEhello. Is there a way to create a "dummy" v4l device, with dummy frames? [17:44]
pinchartlfaLUCE: you can use the vivid driver [17:46]
faLUCEpinchartl: is there an utility for it? [17:49]
pinchartlno, it's a kernel driver
it will create video devices
and the video capture device it creates will produce a test pattern
[17:52]
faLUCEpinchartl: I found also v4l2loopback
it does the job as well
[17:53]
abhi_does any one used c930e on linux [18:06]
pinchartlabhi_: I haven't, but I wrote the driver that supports it :-) [18:07]
abhi_c930e supports UVC 1.5 spec but when i run lsusb
it show UVC 1.00 ( bcdUVC , bInterfaceprotcol = 0)
[18:08]
pinchartlthe uvcvideo driver doesn't support UVC 1.5 I'm afraid [18:10]
abhi_yes .. [18:10]
pinchartlI should say 'not yet'
but there's nobody working on it at the moment
[18:10]
abhi_i got this camera so that i can work for UVC 1.5 on linux
but seems it does not support
[18:12]
pinchartlit should, but it's not displayed by default
because of microsoft actually
(brb, phone, sorry)
[18:12]
abhi_is there any pin to enable it ?
