   theelder777: Technology. According to Standwell Technology's website (http://www.standwell.cn/en/product.asp?cid=178), the chip I have (em28386d) is under the same category as the em2860. The em2860 is contained in the em28xx-cards.c driver. I don't know if that will help me, but I am looking at that part of the code now, to see if can gain some insight.
