[09:26] <mort> This isn't strictly related to v4l, but some of you might know nonetheless
[09:27] <mort> I have a frame of h264-encoded data (from a qualcomm venus hardware encoder, using v4l2), which I need to fragmentize to send over a network.
[09:28] <mort> Does any of you know how to do that, or know of any library which does it?
[10:16] <pH5> mort: how about GStreamer and its rtph264pay + udpsink elements
[10:18] <mort> it's in a C++ project; I get raw frames from Google's webrtc library, and have to give back a buffer and an RTP fragmentation header, so something which could be done from within C++ would be preferred
[10:22] <mort> the built-in h264 software encoder, which uses the Cisco openh264 library, uses info from the openh264 encoder which I don't know if you can get from v4l2
[10:22] <mort> openh264 seems to provide info about the NAL unit count and the length of each NAL unit in the frame
[10:28] <mort> gstreamer seems to have a C library though; that could be useful
[11:06] <khali> hello

[14:44] <ttomov> is it correct to use v4l2_ctrl_s_ctrl() from a driver to set the value of a integer menu control?
[15:49] *** benjiG has left
[16:43] <sailus> ttomov: Yes, it is.
[16:43] <sailus> Just out of curiosity, what do you need to set?
