mchehab: why is https://git.linuxtv.org/media_tree.git older than https://git.linuxtv.org/media_tree.git/ ?
I just got a report about that from a libreelec guy, and that's indeed the case.
hverkuil: Ouch - that's nasty :D
and so subtle !
hverkuil: do you have any TV model to recommend to test CEC and HDMI 4k ? I don't want anything "smart" :-)
pinchartl, good luck finding a dumb 4k TV....
bparrot: I know :-/
I want a large HDMI monitor with CEC support
not a TV
pinchartl: there aren't. I am not aware of any monitors with CEC (don't ask me why, I don't understand that either).
TVs have it, monitors do not.
You can get a small 1080p TV with CEC or a small 4k monitor without CEC. Or a big 4k TV with CEC. I'm using one of those.
I'd like a large 4k screen with CEC but without Android, Tizen, WebOS or any similar crap
I assume it doesn't exist :-/
or a smart TV vendor who not only offers firmware upgrade for their TVs, but also firmware removal :)
hverkuil: no idea... just removed the caches
they're now identical
I suspect cgit get some cache corruption, but no idea why
