i have a Freescale i.MX6 based board and trying to get CSI video input to work i understand this is now possible with using the media/imx drivers from the staging directory my current problem is that /dev/media0 doesn't appear. i don't exactly understand the functionality of the media controller framework and the classic /dev/video* devices. would they appear at the same time, once i got my kernel modules and the devicetree right? | [02:42] |

javier__ | strfry: yes, you should have both your /dev/video* nodes and /dev/media0
so if you don't see a media dev node, probably something is wrong either in your DTB or the media driver | [08:52] |

kmarty | Hi, I don't know how should I contact anyone who writes https://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Astrometa_DVB-T2, so I'm trying it here:
There is described some "clone which looks like TeVii(?) H630" which should be same, but some(?) of them aren't Appearance is the same, but instead of Panasonu MN88472/88473 a Sony CXD2837ER is used and therefore doesn't work Second difference is about RTL2832P which look like it isn't connected to the tuner and therefore caanot be used itself The is a picture of it (with PCB): http://www.kmarty.bluetone.cz/tmp/img_0638.jpg Tha't all :-). I thought it is unnecessary request for a wiki account just only for this. | [17:43] |
So if someone, who has access to modify that wiki page, will modify that page... or something like that. Thank you very much. | [17:52] | |
I forgot two things: 1) it has the same VendorID:ProductID as other Astrometa T2 clones 2) Picture can be used | [17:57] |
