shuah: see my email about sparse warnings in the media device allocator, and you should also have received a kbuild test robot email.
svarbanov: hverkuil: regarding venus smatch errors, what are versions for compiler and smatch?
hverkuil: gcc 8.3.0
smatch 0.5.1
git clone https://git.linuxtv.org/mchehab/smatch.git
Mauro maintains a modified smatch which I use in the daily build.
mchehab: It is basically the upstream version plus a few patches to shut up some false positives and improve timout limits for some stuff we have on media that would require more memory for some parsers than the default
(just 4 patches)
scorp1us: I tried reporting this on the mailing list, but I don't know id it went anywhere... in lib/libv4l2/libv4l2.c, lines 746, 1038 and 1318 use the word "then" instead of "than"
The first two are V4L2_LOG_ERR lines, the last is a comment.
svarbanov: hverkuil: mchehab: OK, thanks. Will try to reproduce.
hverkuil: scorp1us: fixed.
Was wrong in lots of places.
scorp1us: Awesome! thanks!
shuah: hverkuil: yes I saw your email and kbuild report. I am getting on a plane in a couple of hours. I will try to send v12 in a couple of days.
hverkuil: shuah: have a nice flight!

hverkuil: koike: are you planning to make a v2 of "[PATCH 0/8] media: vimc: remove media bus code limitation" very soon (i.e. by tomorrow)? If not, is it OK if I merge just patches 1-7? It's the last patch that causes problems, the others seem fine to me.
