[12:58] <polprog> turns out this one was feeding the video on input 1, switching to card=109 in modprobe conf allowed me to specify the input to be 1 instead of 0
[12:59] <polprog> maybe the unknown/generic capture card should have more than 1 input available, since the saa7134 has three inputs per chip
