hey anyone here familiar with the trident chipsets?
I've "sort of" got one of these working... https://www.ionaudio.com/vcr-2-pc-vcr2pcx110
in that I can get perfect audio out of it using tm6000_alsa - but not while looking at the video at the same time oddly
but if I do video only then I get green bars/interference throughout - but you can just about make out the video behind all that
it's a tm6010 chip
failing that I'm tempted to replace the chipset inside the VCR for something more linux friendly (suggestions?)
My notes on getting this working (to the point I have) so far ... https://pastebin.com/raw/TzE6HNK4
the main bits being telling udev which usb product/vendor ID's to look out for and to use the tm6000 driver with it ... and also to use card=11 which is the closest match as that (a "Behold Voyager") is based on the tm6010 also, has composite and lacks dvb
i get the feeling the utility "decode_tm6000" has something to do with it? comes with the v4l_utils package? any knowledge on this, little information online
