I would like to capture video from VCR

But the picture isnt there

tried capturing video with ffmpeg

KitsuWhooaWild guess, but that log shows it could be a USB issue
if it's a desktop, try plugging it to a rear usb port
most likely after rebooting, if you can't kill ffmpeg

i see that i am plugging into blue USB 3 port, maybe thats the problem - should be in USB 2 mode ?
also I have dongle extender - just an usb cable

in my case, I needed to workarond a broken scaler in my cheapo rca to hdmi converter, and was doing HDMI capture
