WhoWhatWhen
svarbanovhverkuil, could you make a review: https://www.spinics.net/lists/linux-media/msg171409.html and https://www.spinics.net/lists/linux-media/msg171412.html. [08:39]
hverkuilsvarbanov: I'll take a look. Thanks for reminding me, I think I missed that series. [08:51]
.... (idle for 18mn)
svarbanov: reviewed [09:09]
svarbanovhverkuil, thanks. one more for review https://www.mail-archive.com/linux-kernel@vger.kernel.org/msg2222553.html [09:13]
.... (idle for 18mn)
hverkuilsvarbanov: done [09:31]
svarbanovhverkuil, thanks. I guess your Reviewed-by tag means that I can take the controls through Venus pull request (if not too late) ? [09:33]
hverkuilyes, but see my last review, you should make a new series combining the two older ones with my few comments fixed. I'll reply with some more Reviewed-by tags and then you can make a PR for this. [09:34]
svarbanovhverkuil, yep, sure I will submit new series today. Thanks! [09:35]

svarbanovhverkuil, sent new series for CQ and frame-skip https://lkml.org/lkml/2020/7/20/619 [14:32]
.......... (idle for 48mn)
ndufresnesvarbanov: any specific reason you didn't add clickable link to the "VBV (MPEG1/2/4) or CPB (H264) buffer size control." as I suggested ?
for the levels I understand there is many (per codecs) I wonder if these could be in a section, and so we could add a clickable link to the section there
[15:20]
svarbanovndufresne, no I just forgot :)
ndufresne, let me see what I can do, building docs and make is not trivial to me, yet :(
[15:21]
................ (idle for 1h18mn)
ndufresnesvarbanov: indeed, I think it could be nice in fact if each time we edit the doc in a patch, some bot send us a link to a temporay compilation of the doc, do we can get a final view of it [16:42]
........ (idle for 39mn)
ezequielgsvarbanov: out of curiosity, what obstacle do you see when building the doc? [17:21]
svarbanovezequielg, Sphinx version is too old my distro
ezequielg, I source this media_tree/sphinx_2.4.4/bin/activate, and rebuilding htmldocs
[17:29]
ezequielgah ah
make htmldocs works almost out of the box here, that's why i was asking
but yeah, the virtualenv should be of help.
[17:34]

Kwiboo: Hello there! In terms of h264 uapi, I think the only open question is if the DPB proposal I've made on the recent patchset is enough to support field encoded content.
I think in terms fo RKVDEC and Hantro, it's enouhg.
and Cedrus doesn't need that.
gnurou: does the mtk stateless h264 decoder support field encoding?
