Leave out this module. It isn't used NOT for digital-tv. Only for the
analog-tv fall-back. Ralph/Marcus? Can you check the Makefile for the
integration of this fall-back module???

/sbin/lsmod has shown you msp3400??? If not, the Makefile should
integrate this. Is the module placed on the right position???

It is for compatibility analog-audio fallback, if you have an add-on
analog-board (MXB, not DVB)on your 
DVB-card. Your cable-based dvb-technotrend card has a D/A-Converter
onboard, which converts the digital ES-Streams to analog audio. It is
only important for you, if want to use the analog-tv part on this add-on
card.
In 1996 there was a first so-called MXB(Multimedia Extension Board)
developed for analog-tv output. It was one of the first pci-cards to
presentate Analog-TV on your computer monitors. 
This Add-On Card is a Fall-Back on your DVB-Card to choose the M.Hunold
MXB ported-driver to look at analog channels!!!FujitsuSiemensComputers
has made this for the customers to use analog-tv in a transition to
digital-tv. Thats the background. Hope you understand the underlaying
stuff, now!?
I thought there was a add-on module for sat/cable/terr. for this
fallback to analog-tv? And you have definitly a cable one.
