I am definitely going to do it as a module parameter, either with a
simple yes/no or with the wanted amount of OSD (within limits of
course), I am not sure yet.
We (Convergence) do not need OSD but we need flawless playback. So,
that's my priority but I'll keep OSD as an option.
Maybe I'll also still find a solution which allows both.
