Added that (see the new ftp://ftp.cadsoft.de/pub/people/kls/ctest.c),
but the problem is still there :-(

Well, if I don't do a lot of channel switching in VDR, the problem
only occurs once or twice a day (caused by the EPG scanner's channel
switching). But I believe this should be stable enough to work even
under heavy zapping load.
Maybe you could run a modified version of rtuxzap that switches
channels every few seconds, just like my ctest.c. I wonder If
it would also run into the same problems...
