[linux-dvb] DVB in the UK

Hello,

I'm in the planning stages of putting together my own VDR. Before I found
LinuxTV, my plan was to use an MPEG2 encoder card to record from
my cable STB. Now that I see that these DVB cards are available,
I'm wondering whether anybody in the UK has tried using one of
these cards, either DVB-S to get Sky or DVB-C to get NTL. I don't
feel brave enough to be the first one to try this... Any information
would be much appreciated.
