[linux-dvb] Software for the HDTV Hipix goes open source

Hi all,

In the avsforum it was announced that the driver/software for the Telemann
Hipix HDTV receiver/Mpeg decoder card will be open sourced
http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=97238 perhaps some
linux support for this card would be interesting. We don't have HDTV in
europe, but the card could possibly receive DVB and scale/deinterlace it up
to HDTV output (720P or 1080I) That would be a great improvement in picture
quality for DVB. Being able to play DVD's in HDTV resolution would be a nice
sideeffect too :-)
