You can use 0.8.2 driver with dvbd and 2.4.x kernel, take a look at
patch on A. Boros website.
I've no tried this solution yet, but seems possible.

Since one or two days, I can't login on sdr.eutelsat.net, maybe beta-test
period is terminated ?
